Our Prayer Letter
Greetings from Peru!

November/ December 2008

Dear prayer and supporting friends,

We thank the Lord that we finally got started on our travel after such a trying time, during the first few months of our stay here in the U.S.A.

Eva and I truly hold to God's blessed promise, in His glorious Word. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28.

NOVEMBER:
This is the month that we actually started our travels, for furlough, and to raise new support.
November 2nd, in Georgia
November 5th, in Illinois.
November 9th , in Wisconsin.
November 12th , in Nebraska.
November 16th , in Kansas, and Missouri.
November 19th , in Arkansas.
November 23rd , in Tennessee, and in Alabama.
November 26th , in South Carolina.
November 30th , in Pennsylvania.

DECEMBER:
We continued to travel, sharing with our supporters, what the Lord’s been doing this last term, on the field.
Doors also opened, for us to be in new churches.
December  7th_ 14th ,  in Connecticut.
December  14th, in Massachusetts.
December  17th, In Maryland.
December 21st- 31st , in South Carolina.

BLESSINGS:
1.       We praise the Lord, for his protection for us, and our vehicle, during our almost 8 thousand miles of traveling, and being in 24 churches, during November, and December.
2.       In one of our services in Georgia, a teenage girl came to Christ, and a man rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
3.       A teenage boy in Wisconsin received Jesus Christ as Savior.
4.       We have six new promises for support, and four returning supporters.   PRASIE GOD’S HOLY NAME.
5.       $4,200.00 came in to build a wall, on the property, in Chiclayo.  WHAT A MIGHY GOD WE SERVE!!!
6.       There are two seminary graduates coming to join the ministry in Chiclayo.  They are an engaged couple, who will be getting married this coming year.  The man will be helping us in the music ministry of the church, and the lady, will be a teacher in Harvest Deaf School.

SCHOOL DAYS:
1.        One of the greatest blessings that we’ve seen in the ministry of the school is the outreach program of contacting new possible students for the school.  Praise the Lord, that in the month of November, Harvest School staffs were able to make eight new contacts for this coming school year.
2.       As you know, the school year in Peru runs from March through December.  We give praise and honor to God, for allowing us to finish another school year.  Blessings, as well as, challenges were part of this school year, but God says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”   1 Thessalonians 5:18.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1.        That we will raise the additional supported needed for Peru.
2.       Safety while traveling on the roads.
3.       Funds for the construction of the church, on the ministry property.  We presently have $1,000.00, towards the construction .
4.       That God will bless Pastor Juan, and the workers in the ministry in Chiclayo, during our absence.
5.       Continue to pray for the new church started last April in the city of Tuman.
6.       Please pray for positive results, for the eight new contacts made, for this coming school year.
We thank you for all prayers, and your financial support for this year.   It’s our desire that God will bless you, and give you a GODLY year in 2009.

Your Missionaries,
Lee and Eva Johnson
